Dragon*Con was ridiculous and awesome and full of great people and far too many things I wanted to do and not enough time to do them in.

Thus, it was a particularly fitting end to this entire absurd, brilliant adventure.

The next chapter's just around the corner, and that's great and exciting, but right now? I feel like I could keep travelling around forever, and I don't want to go home.

Unfortunately touristing in Boston turned into kind of a bust owing to various travel and hostel-related incidents, but thank you everyone for your suggestions! Another time, hopefully, and I will be able to do some of that when I get to DC.

Happily I did get to spend this afternoon wandering about with [personal profile] iambickilometer and [personal profile] contrarywise, so overall I'm calling it a win.

So, Dragon*Con approacheth! A poll seems in order. I have contact details for some of you, but I am sure I am missing people.

I'm attending D*C and would not be adverse to hanging out!

So, okay, I am spending this weekend in Boston and then heading off to Washington DC for a few days, and I pretty much have no idea what I want to do while I am in either place!

Anyone got any suggestions for me? I like things like museums and pretty areas to wander around and cultural landmarks and such, also things that are accessible by public transport and do not require really huge amounts of walking.

In about seven hours I am off to the airport to commence the Great Fannish Adventure. \o/

I will probably have lots of internet access on account of how I'm staying with fan people and such, but I'll be checking my reading list intermittently at best. Feel free to shoot me an email if you'd like to catch me up on things!

Have a great August, folks, and I will see some of you very soon*! ♥

(*And [personal profile] avendya soonest of all, omg. It is a strange and wonderful thing, looking forward to meeting one of your best friends for the first time.)
