notes: Good Omens was my first fandom after the gateway drug of HP. Then the miniseries happened and I swan dived right back in. I've read more fic in the last month than in the last year?? How wonderful to see an A/C vid that doesn’t just stitch the usual scenes into a lyric-appropriate patchwork (don’t get me wrong, that can be great, too), but actually picks a song that allows the tension to build and build this way. There are pauses for breath between the increasing moments of jeopardy, the literal trials by fire and earthquake, and the end is a fully-earned moment of joy. I have been hoping to see GO vid from you and this surpassed even my highest expectations. BRAVA.

This is so great! I love the tension building, I loved that wonderful moment of "looking at me" and the fondness on their faces. I loved the black and white lyrics actually overlaying heaven and hell, that they're both organisations with strict rules but not exactly "good" for the earth/humanity, and the shot of Crowley and Aziraphale being in colour.

Also the line about making decisions and it going all the way back to Crowley and Aziraphale in the garden, both influencing humans.

(Meanwhile, I'm very amused that two of my favourite A/C vids are both Taylor Swift songs. Hee. There's a nice match of tone there, but I couldn't say what it is precisely.)
