You should all be reading the stuff on omniocular anyway, because it's fabulous, but I draw your attention to one in particular. Persuasion by lowlands_girl is absolutely fanastic - long, involved, chilling & convincing. Ginny keeps writing in Tom Riddle's diary, and everything changes. Despite its length, it's a speedy read because it's gripping stuff.

My own omniocular fic will be up sometime today, and it's of a somewhat different calibre to that. All I shall say for now is that you know fandom has completely eaten your brain when you've turned Dumbledore into a grizened old cowboy whose opening line is 'Alright, you sons of bitches, listen up!' *headdesk* This is so insane.

Notes: Written for omniocular's AU challenge - prompt: Instead of wizards, MWPP are cowboys and Hogwarts is a ranch. Bonus points if there is rustling. Brokeback references optional. Admittedly there's a bit of het in this, but that's because Lily's an incorrigible flirt and there's really nothing I could do about it.
