+ Beannacht Lá Fhéile Pádraig! Not a holiday I celebrate usually even though I am Irish, but I hope everyone going out tonight has a fun, safe time.

+ I have this problem where I can't stop watching bradcpu's new Legend of the Seeker vid, Lightning Field. It is so unspeakably gorgeous, and it's the Cara/Kahlan vid of my SOUL. Well worth a watch whether you know the show or not - pretty, pretty femslash!

+ Speaking of pretty, pretty femslash, netgirl_y2k wrote Protect Me From What I Want, a modern!AU Morgana/Morgause story that really, really works for me.

+ omg White Collar. DIANA. eeeeee!!! Her reappearance made me so, so happy even though I knew it was coming! How is she so awesome? And I love that they carefully took the time at the beginning to establish that yep, still gay, happily in a relationship and getting on with her life and generally being great, and also that Peter thinks the world of her. This stuff is not hard, but it's so gratifying when someone gets it right. \o/

If it helps, you are not the only one with the problem of not being able to stop watching that vid. (And just so you know, your subject line got the song stuck in my head all over again, and just when I had gotten it out!)

So I can second that the vid is mesmerizing even for those like me who haven't seen the show and have no investment in the characters.

Thanks much for rec'ing "Protect Me From What I Want," which I enjoyed even though the incest thing squicks me. I suppose I can blame you for the hours I spent reading loads of netgirl_y2k's Merlin fic following that taste.
