+ Ugh, I am cranky today after running my uni's LGBT stall this morning. PRO TIP. If you don't know what 'LGBT' stands for and you lean in to peer at the GIANT RAINBOW BANNER to find out, things not to do when you work out the acronym include a) pulling a face, b) looking at us as though we're about to give you cooties, and c) pointing it out to your friends so you can all have a good laugh. Just -- don't do that. Oh, and also, please don't come and seek us out specially so you can give us all on a sermon on how you used to be gay only the Holy Spirit saved your immortal soul and made you straight. Really, don't.

*sigh* I resent people who make my job harder than it has to be!

Anyway - this is going somewhere, I promise - I am thus extra pleased to see that queerlygen is open for business. There are already stories in Merlin, SGA, Leverage and more, and if you feel inspired you can see all the prompts gathered to date here.

+ I have SO MUCH WRITING I should be doing, oh dear. *leechblocks self* (Have I mentioned how Leechblock is my new favourite Firefox extension? Because it really is!)

So, things with deadlines include:

- Torchwood VS3 (a collaborative virtual season three I'm working on - fun, but challenging, and I'm really behind on what I ought to be doing! /o\)
- Torchwood RPG stuff
- Fandom Free-For-All - so far I'm up to a Merlin/Firefly fusion fic, a T:TSCC Jesse/Riley vid and a Morgana vid. *SITS FIRMLY ON HANDS*
- camelotsolstice - I am SO EXCITED about my assignment, but the deadline's not for a while and it's distracting me from things higher up the list. Oops.

So, er, yes. I'll just be gtting on with that.

Actually, I didn't learn its meaning until my early twenties, but that might have been due to my fairly "sheltered" and rather conservative upbringing. However, ignorance is one thing; being an asshole is quite another.

We have gay milk at our LGBT coffee hours, and apparently someone asked, a couple of years ago, if the milk would turn them gay. P., apparently, was very tempted to say that it would, but managed to not do, and instead told them that it is just labelled that to stop everyone else using it.

This is true, people kept trying to hand my freshers survival packs. I don't need a bag full of instant noodles, and crap coffee sachets, and free condoms.

Leechblock is GREAT. What I love best about it is that you can set it so you can't override your own blocks during your lockout. It makes it so difficult to procrastinate!
