isagel, modified to not just be fic:
If you were asked to pick one scene, one shot, one detail, one moment of some kind out of all the things I've made and say "This, this, for whatever reason, I remember, this is something that struck home with me, that I wanted to keep," what would it be?

Remus laughed a little, then he pulled Sirius into a hug. Sirius's eyes flew open, surprised, as Remus wrapped his arms firmly around Sirius's shoulders, and this wasn't some macho back-slapping prelude, this was an undeniable embrace, and Sirius didn't know what to do. His hands lingered uselessly into mid-air, and he was terrified that if he touched Remus, if he held him back, then he'd never let go.
Remus shifted, and he must have noticed the awkward tension Sirius was giving out. Sirius gritted his teeth, because however pathetic and useless he'd become, he must still be able, surely, to hug his friend. As soon as he'd thought that, his hands started moving of their own accord, moulding against the small of Remus's back and fitting against the structure of his body like they were meant to be there.
This was the least platonic hug imaginable, this was Sirius being so, so obvious, and he knew he'd blown it by how slowly Remus moved away, how he was openly staring at Sirius.
"I --" Sirius didn't know if there were any words that could prevent disaster. His breathing was shaky and a litany of curses and desperate pleas were running through his head. "I'm really sorry," he said.
"Oh god." Remus's tone was that of soft disbelief, and Sirius didn't understand, not until Remus reached a hand out and lays three fingertips along the trembling line of Sirius's cheekbone.
Oh.

This.

And you know, I rewatched that vid recently, and it was weird to see it now that S3 has wrapped up, and the ways it does and doesn't work with existing canon. The oddness of working with open sources!

All of Bad Romance, and We Go Together, and oh my gosh if I start on your fic I will just never stop but most recently?
Toph sits in the shadow of a firebender-run tea shop in Ba Sing Se, in a time of peace, and the world is full of wonders and she has a family, and there is nothing she can't do, and no cages anywhere.

Also, I still love that moment in "Monsters and Heroes and Men" where the instrumental section in the middle of the music starts, and the camera sweeps in a circle around the arena.
But there's too much of your stuff I haven't watched, because I'm so far behind on Merlin and Doctor Who canon and don't want to be spoiled.
Oh! And "Butterflies and Hurricanes"! In particular the beginning "Change everything you are", and Gwen looking up when the music swells on "Fight", and the instrumental part at the end.

And in general, you are far too kind. <3 I'll be excited if you ever do catch up with Who, I'd love to see your take on the current characters!

My mind immediately went to this. And that whole fic really, which was the perfect tag to that finale and everything I like about that whole series. That's a much better final scene for the girls than the ones they got, and they deserve it. <3

"Of Monsters and Heroes and Men" -- something about that final "we survive" as the tiny figures are buried in the earth makes me start crying every time. I haven't even seen the movie! (Thanks to this vid, I don't have to.)

+I'm usually not huge on fanvids (either for the video editing, song choice/matching, etc) but I still love it.
+It works so PERFECTLY with the song, both by the canon proper and how you choose to use the clips.
+It's the one thing I make sure to have bookmarked and have recced waaaaaay more than anything else.
Impressively, despite that Morgana is usually my favorite character in modern Merlin and/or Arthur stories but with Merlin I've been so underwhelmed by Katie McGrath's acting (Angel, etc outshine her) that I've reacted more to the sub-par (imo) acting than if it had been a non-favorite character, I really love love love the clips of Morgana you use and feel they convey great emotion, subtly, etc.
None of this is to say I don't love other works of yours, but you just...blew me away with that video when you first made it and still do every time I rewatch it.

Because, I also want to believe there will always be happy endings. In Glorious, my favourite part is the end, when the girls have all managed to reach their goals. Yes they are terrifyingly alone when they do so sometimes, and unremarked, and those are things that need to change - but it's still happy, and still a success. We can do it.

And yay, I'm glad to hear you say that - Glorious having a happy ending was so important to me, because yes. <3
