astolat, OTW owns the goddamn servers! Which is very cool to behold.
* Gordon Brown has released a statement in response to the petition for an apology for Alan Turing. It makes for heartening reading.
* Merlin promos/behind-the-scenes pictures continue to induce glee! Here are some pictures of Gwen and Morgana, and here's the whole cast with guest stars (general premise & casting spoilers for the first three episodes). I have to say, (highlight to read) I am super excited about Adrian Lester and Colin Salmon, though also privately going 'don't kill all the black guys again, Beeb!' Oh dear. Adrian Lester looks evil and thus a goner, but I am holding out for a not!evil magical Colin Salmon who makes it all the way through the episode.
* Lastly, because this looks amusing (please play so I can spam you with bizarre feedback!): Give me the title of a story I've never written, and feedback telling me what you liked best about it, and I will tell you any of: the first sentence, the last sentence, the thing that made me want to write it, the biggest problem I had while writing it, why it almost never got posted, the scene that hit the cutting room floor but that I wish I'd been able to salvage, or something else that I want readers to know.

As for the meme...hmm. "Kings and Queens" was a great story, and I have to say, my favorite part was that Arthur, Merlin, Gwen, and Morgana all took turns ruling the kingdom openly as a foursome. XD

Aw, I am glad you liked that one, I had a blast writing it. The main problem I had with it was that it wouldn't end, every single time the four of them were in a room together they would not shut up, and so I ended up scrapping a lot of the external plot I was going to use. Originally there was this whole subtheme with OCs where you'd get quite a few different rulers from other kingdoms coming to visit and being jealous of Arthur's set up, but Isabella was the only one who made the draft. Maybe another time. I still have this idea that Isabella & Morgana & Gwen could start this Britain-wide feminist revolution and possibly have make-outs whilst doing so. *g*

I FULLY APPROVE THIS IDEA.

I struggled with the end - I didn't want Team Torchwood to come over all reformed suddenly, but using Suzie's (second) death was good as a wake-up call. I've wanted to use "What do we do now?" as an end line for the longest time, and giving it to Gwen worked out nicely, I thought.
