Now, it's definitely a terrible idea for me to sign up for bigbangblackout, even though it is a challenge All About Sirius and it looks very well-run and I did check, and I could use an existing 'verse, and so I could, theoretically, use this as an opportunity to get into gear and finally write what is probably the last long HP story I've got in me. Theoretically. Like I said, though, terrible idea. More generally, though, I am watching the comm gleefully, it's well worth checking out!

I am sitting on my hands as well. It would be a good excuse to write out the Remus and Sirius backstory I've had in my head for ages. Considering it takes me a month to come up with a 1,000 word piece I'm happy with, I think this would be a bad idea.

(Also, re. your post and comment about "not being a writer" - THIS. I am not the only one who writes because it's fun - but it's not the only thing I could, or want, to do.)

Probably not the best plan, then, no. I keep reminding myself that just because I have word count goals for this year doesn't mean they all have to be on really enormous projects, because that's way more work!

And yes! I love it to bits, but it does not define my Inner Being or something.

haha, i am also Determinedly Not Doing bigbangblackout, because given the amount of incomplete projects i already have (7) and my track record with long, plotty Remus/Sirius WsIP (0 for 2), it would be a terrible idea. *high fives* :P

also, did i tell you how much i adored your Merlin fic?? because i totally, totally did. :D &hearts &hearts
