kaydeefalls has been slinking over to join us on the dark side for a while now, and now she has made this vid, and it is awesome! It's a really loving, affectionate portrayal of Jack and the people he cares about, with some great editing, lyric match-ups and a real sense of the fun and drama of the show.

Battlestar Galactica/Veronica Mars/Firefly/Buffy/Alias
An old vid I stumbled upon recently. Out of the five sources used, Firefly's the only one I know well - I've seen a handful of episodes of both BSG and Buffy, and none whatsoever of Veronica Mars and Alias. That doesn't at all affect the fact I adore this! It's really cleverly put together, very skillfully edited throughout, and with the overall message of Starbuck, Veronica, Zoe, Buffy and Sydney kick ass and take names, remain awesome while doing so, I can't not love it. A great, great watch.

Endings are subjective when you travel in time...
This is a scenario I've read however many times before.hanuueshe's version might just be my new favourite. It's the tone of this that gets me - it never overplays the angst, there are some very silly moments but it's not crack, and most of all the characterisation is just perfect. Oh, and it features Ianto going on adventures with the Doctor, which is an instant win.

The Doctor was a tease. An alien tease, which was the worst kind. For some reason. He was. Yes you are, Doctor, don't deny it. One word for you, pal; TONGUE. This conversation had never occurred, save in Fantasy 55.
BWAHAHAHA. Yeah, first off this is hysterical. And if you've never metskellerbvvt's take on Jack's internal monologue before, you're in for a particular treat. But what I kind of love about this is that like all the best crack it's in-character and really plausible. And it makes my shippy little heart happy, too.
