Oh, seriously. But Torchwood's pretty simple compared to the epic, multi-format sprawling mess that is Doctor Who canon, heh. We make our own fun!

And that's very exciting, Canterbury's a lovely part of the world. I don't know a great deal about Kent uni, I must say, but I know I've heard good things.

Haha. Yes. Just reading what my flist has to say about Doctor Who confuses me. (I did watch the pilot ep though, and man, any show that starts with animated mannequins gets my vote of approval.)

It seems like a cool place. Good location, too, for traveling! I'm so ridiculously excited. I've only ever been to Canada, and I could still see the US from where I was, so going all the way to Europe is going to be amazing. Whereabouts are you in the UK, if you don't mind me asking?

Oh, I do love the first episode very much. Mannequins! Sekrit alien takeover under the London Eye! Fun stuff.

I'm based up in Yorkshire during term time, although just north of London in the holidays.

London! \o/ I'm kind of freaked out about how expensive everything's going to be though. I worked like a madwoman this summer to make spending money, but still. It's gonna be rough. (I have a friend in London for the whole year though, who is SO EXCITED because he can get a part-time job and make way more money than he'd be making in the US. Y'know. Comparatively.) I'm trying to cut back on spending for this present semester though, and so far it's working okay. I want to do as much traveling as I can once I'm over there - dunno when, if ever, I'll make it back to Europe, so I want to see everything, haha.
