Name one character from any fandom I know and I will give you three facts about them from my personal canon.

* She technically has friends back in the Muggle world, though now she sees them so rarely it really is a technicality. But when she used to go back home during the holidays, she'd listen to them talk about music and ordinary school and sports and from time to time would wonder if she was missing out on anything. Her answer, in the end, would always be no.

* She partly bought Crookshanks because he'd be better company than an owl, and with Lavender and Parvati always whispering together at the other end of the dormitory, or simply not being there at all, she sometimes feels a bit lonely up there without her friends.

* She never thought she'd have so much faith in someone her own age, but she trusts Harry, completely and absolutely, a feeling that has been growing for years. She never doubts for a moment he will find a way to defeat Lord Voldemort, though she worries about how much help she can really be to him.
