HOT REC.
If you've ever wondered about Christianity and if it could ever fit into the Harry Potter world, then go and read this fic. If you're feeling the need for some really awesome Sirius characterisation, then go and read this fic.
I am in love it with it.Siriusly Seriously. True, I'm a big religion geek, but still. It is awesome.

ETA: Oh, and I just received confirmation of my place on Sectus! I so, so should not have spent that money just at the moment, but oh well. My flist isn't particularly British, I know, but anyone going that I don't know about? I'm very excited, but also a bit worried, because, you know, lots and lots of people I don't know.

It's so interesting, isn't it? Canon *is* very secular, but the interesting thing is that it uses a lot of Christian tropes (forgiveness, redemption) and imagining that one of the characters is faithful really highlights that for me. Hm. Should be writing these comments on Lissa's post! But the basic point is that I love stories that make me think, too, and that one did.
