You know how else is awesome? Britney Spears, who released images of a photoshoot, before and after airbrushing. I also like what Shakesville has to say about it in that article, and you can read the comments on this one!

Reading JKR's article made me want to stand up and cheer. She gets it. Why can't the politicians?

And I really do admire Britney Spears. She's had a hard time, but she really keeps trying. Seeing the untouched pictures of her makes me admire her even more.

GO JK! I love that article, but why are the only/main comments anti-? Also, I must say the idea of getting pregnant to jump a housing list/get welfare is one much less common (even among conservatives) in the US, give we don't have very good welfare. The idea does exist, but less so. Makes me kind of go "huh? o.O"

And power to Britney Spears for doing that! I am impressed.

That JKR is awesome goes without saying. I wish her fans would think so, too, but I have already seen her criticised for not supporting low-income families.
