"Oh my gods." Laura stared. Rodney flicked switches, looking panicked. The baby started crying.

There's a presence, out in the black: "I've been falling for so long." Kaylee shivers.

An alien world, a private room. A laugh, a kiss. Two ties hang, intertwined.

"What's beyond?" Kaylee asks.

"Sunrise, and countless stars." Uhura smiles. Her eyes fall shut.
