I FINALLY watched this, and it is SO GREAT. Lovely cuts and parallels and a lovely bit of literalism with the "boys only want love if it's torture".

If I might criticise, there was a fair bit of talky face at the beginning? It overcame that really well, and I know it's just one of the limitations of Classic Who, but it was distracting. (Note: it's possible I am abnormally opposed to talky face, IDK.)
