Doctor Who 7x14
This is both your regularly scheduled blanketfort of squee and also a blanketfort of FEELINGS oh my god.
Let's see.
+ JENNY AND VASTRA. I ship it so hard and they are both so adorable and yaaaaay. *___* And Strax is the greatest, the whole Glasgow moment was brilliant.
+ CLARAAAAA. She's so wonderful, and I love how her mystery wrapped up. She chooses her own destiny by god! She knew what she was doing, she knew the consequences, and went for it anyway. And holy crap, the way they blended her in with previous Doctors made me shriek A LOT. SO AMAZING. Clara Oswald, Impossible Souffle Girl, I'm so glad she's sticking around. <33333
+ RIVER. OH GOD, MY HEART. So it is technically a Library fix it, because it demonstrates that she's not stuck in the Library forever, that she has opportunities to be elsewhere and to be near people she's connected to, but also it was just so devastating and I cried a lot. I loved her link with Clara, and presumably she has a connection to Jenny and Vastra too (I want to read THAT story), and ugh, her final scene with Eleventy. ;_____; But it is a fix-it, a bit, and she can come back again, and ALSO she totes has the ability to go visit her parents like this, so that's a thing.
Yeah, I loved it even when it was breaking my heart, because nothing newly tragic happened, you know? Just more heartbreak of things that were already heartbreaking, and some things made a little less so.
And Time War not!Doctor John Hurt. Yes please, give it to me.
