Doctor Who 7x11
Wheee yes good I loved that. Intense and creepy and interesting and some lovely character stuff.
+ The TARDIS library! And gosh, the heart of the TARDIS, that was beautiful, as was the architecture room. Lots of corridors, but some really lovely sets too.
+ So many callbacks - all the mingled voices from Susan through to Nine and Idris and Amy - the room with Melody's cot and the model TARDIS, oh my heart.
+ Clara! Brave and inquisitive and a little rash and has a lovely lovely face. And really is just ordinary Clara at this point, further pointing at the idea that whatever's happened to her hasn't happened yet.
+ I feel like there are a lot of clues here. The Salvage Brother who's a human who thinks he's a robot as a mirror of Oswin, music saving the day *again* - that's happened basically every week, and I wonder if Doctor Song might just have something to do with it. :D Really starting to get into this season arc now. *bounce*
+ CLARA'S FACE THOUGH. WHAT A GOOD FACE.

Oh, yes! I hadn't picked that up, but it's perfect. And of course, music is her defence against the Dalek trying to find a way into her being in Asylum of the Daleks.
I wasn't surprised when Clara forgot (if she did - who knows what's happening next and Amy remembered Rory and wept for him at some level in herself when the crack in time had consumed him, as Vincent could see, and so I wouldn't be too sure that Clare has completely and utterly forgotten) what she had learned because of the parallel with Lucy reading the magician's book in Voyage of the Dawn Treader. Even Clara's dress, albeit to do with current trends too, was reminiscent of Lucy's in the Pauline Baynes illustration.
