HI SHOW HI. The Blanketfort of Squee is open for business once more!

OMG CLARA I LOVE YOUUUU. Her face is so good! And I love how much she wasn't totally swept away by the Doctor, and then the end, where she asks him to come back tomorrow, eeeee best. He's the one who's waiting now. And Clara/mug of tea = OTP.

Eleventy was on particularly ridiculous and delightful form - the jammie dodgers, the antigrav motorbike, and it's so good to see him happy again.

And perfect, perfect Pond references - just enough to give me All The Feelings without being overly angsty and terrible. Letting Eleventy get over the majority of his angst in the Christmas special with a different version of Clara was a really good call. But oh, the glasses.

Mostly though, AMY POND BECAME A CHILDREN'S AUTHOR MY HEADCANON IS FINALLY TRUUUUUE OMG. (I wrote only my hands to guide me during the mid-S6 hiatus.) lizbee's amazing fic is also true and much more accurately so.

And, yeah, 11 will make you cry your eyes out. :(

Squee! I really enjoyed it! We have another episode next week! :D

Well, I'm at the point of 'Surely it's all very obvious what could I possibly write?'

I'm at the point of 'A lot of it is very obvious but I still feel like I'm missing things and there are just too many threads to follow for me to keep them all in my head at once'.

It's very distracting.

Though my thoughts are less on mirrors atm and more along the lines of 'parallels with other episodes! doubles! books! trees! boxes! names! created worlds! active camouflage!' etc etc etc. I feel like someone is playing pingpong in my mind.

I liked all the little details: the Doctor did buy a fez! The route to the rest of the TARDIS (which I couldn't see before)! Clara's response to the TARDIS and telling him to come back in the morning! But most of all, Amy's book.
