God, I don't know, how do you coherent, but that was the most gorgeous OT3 love-in ever and I can't believe we only get one more episode with these three. *cries forever*

I did start crying at the end because the shot of the three of them walking into the TARDIS was the last thing they filmed and OH GOD. NO.

I stand by my theory that everything's going to be fine, though, so moving on from the sad!

The Doctor giving them an anniversary present of a gorgeous date and they looked so beautiful in formal wear and Rory kissing the Doctor eeeee.

They have jobs and friends and lives and are so wonderful and Poooooonds how are you so perfect I can't even.

Amy being a bridesmaid at a lesbian wedding! Also I highly approve of travel writer as her current job, that sounds like it would suit her. (Still holding for endgame of children's author though!)

I absolutely think that the Doctor was at a few different points in his time stream here, and when he came to stay he was post them leaving, and then goes backwards in their lives - see him mentioning Henry VIII last week. I don't think that's a portent of doom for the Ponds, but a marker of sadness for him. Sigh.

All of the agrees. I started to cry at the end, too, after they had that lovely moment where they entered the TARDIS and then, bam, the next week promo rolled.

I think everything will be okay, too. The Doctor told Amy she always gets what she wants, and I think that may be a meta comment from the writers. As may be the victims of cardiac arrest recovering--heartbreak, anyone?

I wondered about the Henry VIII thing -- I like the idea of the Doctor being out of sequence here, a la Flesh and Stone. It would make his comment to Rory's dad when he asked about the other people who'd travelled in the Tardis "never them" look like reassurance. I HOPE.

Yes, I think so. It really seems to me that he's stealing his last few moments with them, and seemed not to be in mourning but just missing them tremendously.

I'd read Gillan & Darvill talking about it, and then forgot, and then remembered just as the last scene started and UNEXPECTED EMOTIONS.

Mm, so the theory is that after next week's adventures and the Ponds finally deciding to leave, he goes back in their timeline to steal more time with them, and is thus not in the same order as they are. Which seems plausible!

The more I think about it, the more that seems to hit the nail on the head! It fits perfectly with the whole "I missed you" thing he had going on. With River as well that's a whole out-of-order Time Family. :D
