In some ways reading more about this case makes me want to bash my head through the window... but these links are also encouraging and heartening, in their representation of, you know, the entire human race not being made of fail. D:

(crazy sounding, I know, but one of the reasons I want to be a librarian is because in that position you have such a wealth of opportunities to talk to people and help them to think about issues and learn to understand them and act on their beliefs. and help people who think they have no voices to know to tell their stories. and give them the opportunity to be heard.)
