womenlovefest, I thought I'd host a little festival of recs. Some of the women we love have loads of stuff made for them, but not everyone knows where that is, and for other characters the goods are unfortunately few and far between.
How it works: you comment with an awesome lady you'd like some fanwork recs for, with details as appropriate. Other people comment with links. Squee for all!
Examples:
+ Amy Pond, fic or art set between the main action of the Eleventh Hour and the end of the episode. Gen preferred, though background Amy/Rory is fine.
+ Laura Roslin, icons and journal headers. No spoilers past s2, please.
+ Toph Bei Fong, any medium, any ship, with bonus points for femslash.
Put the character name in the subject of your comment. If someone's already commented with the character you had in mind, feel free to add your request beneath theirs in the thread.
I'll be in and out today, but will try and leave some recs for all the characters that I can! Feel free to include characters from fandoms I don't know, too, and hopefully other people can help you out.

All three are post-series, about Azula's life and recovery, afterwards. It's been a while since I've read them, but I have strong memories of all three being awesome.
