new community: ponds_daily

Combine a little lunchtime procrastination with my current fannish philosophy that every day is better with Ponds in it and you get a new community - ponds_daily. A post-a-day community for pictures of the characters and cast from the Eleventh Doctor era of Doctor Who, where everyone ends up becoming a Pond sooner or later.

I love the Pond family, I really, really do. I swear, I've tried to thread together a thin rationalization for Donna to be Amy's long-lost cousin, just based on the hair and the fact that Donna and Amy would be SCARY awesome together.

La la la, what Tiger Beatdown post? (No, I did skim through it, and mostly concluded that the author and commenters just aren't watching the show I'm watching. At all. So I'm mostly trying to put it out of my head again.)

*skims Tiger Beatdown post and frowns* Okay, I will grant that Amy winds up stuck in the damsel role or otherwise put in a position of relative passivity more often than I'd like, so yes, room for improvement, but it's a lot better than the author of that article insists (IMHO).

I hated that Tiger Beatdown post. Mostly because I'm ridiculously overprotective of Amy (and also, no, dudes are not the only people who like Moffat, argh). Are you going to be posting your response as an entry in your DW, or as a comment to the post?
