argh, exporting is my least favourite part of vidding
I return from an excellent weekend in San Francisco, in which avendya and I dorked around with noldo a lot and also met laurashapiro for some pre-VVC flail and also delicious noms. And suddenly, it is only a few days until Vividcon!
While I am faffing around with exporting my vid ready for post-premiering uploading, here's what I think my schedule will look like:
We're flying into O'Hare at around 2 pm on Thursday - depending on how tired I am after the flight I may be around during the afternoon oravendya and I might be off on a mini Chicago adventure.
Thursday 8pm: Welcome party
Friday:
9.30: VJ training
11.00: In Soviet Russia, Vid Edits You panel
1.00: Identity vidshow
2.00: Nearly New vidshow
4.00: Also Premiering vidshow
Evening: Club Vivid
Saturday:
10.00: Race & Representation vidshow & panel
1.00: Unusual POV vidshow
2.00: Newbies Rock vidshow
3.00: Motion panel
4.00: VJing We're He're, We're Queer (omg please let some people show up!)
7.00: Premieres
9.00: Karaoke (I appear to have volunteered myself for this, this will no doubt end horribly)
Sunday: not sure. Catching up on sleep if I need to, catching up on some vidshows I'm missing, and generally playing it by ear.
Info for people attending so you can find/avoid me - I'm a 21 year old white woman with shoulder length dyed red hair, a British accent, and no doubt a permanent aura of newbieness and confusion. I am a fan of hugs, glitter and squee, so please feel free to share any of those things with me! If I can get technology to cooperate I will probably be tweeting as I go @such_heights. I will also be in Chicago for the rest of the week and up for some post-con flail and coffee and such.
