moar on who
I remain over the moon. I just - I can't remember the last time a show made me this happy! I loved the season and found it consistently glee-inducing, and then it went out on such a high that I am totally startled by my joy! I am unused to enjoying a show this thoroughly on the level the writers are at themselves. I get what Moffat's doing with his fairy tale in space, where we're all stories and other people's memories and that's what makes us real. If you have enough hope, and love, and imagination, and belief, you can do anything. And I need to hear stuff like that sometimes, and it's a big part of why I engage so strongly with genre fiction, even though it lets me down all the time. But this time, it didn't! In spectacular style! <333
I love that the Alliance of Evil unwittingly did save the universe, by creating the Pandorica, the only thing that could keep the old universe alive, just a little, just enough. I love that Amy's spent years and years with the whole of time and space flowing through her head - to become a real part of her, not a temporary superpower like Rose and Donna had, something to be taken away again.
And now it's finished so beautifully, I am expecting much fannish output for a good few months to come! There are so, so many stories to tell, and not much by way of fixing or compartmentalising (I don't think this series was perfect by any means, but a lot of aspects of it pretty much were.)
I have many things I would like to do, but I suspect they mostly boil down to RIVER AND AMY AND RORY AND ELEVENTY AND THE TARDIS ARE ALL MARRIED IN SPACE. *___________*
starsandatoms has a squee-inducing episode recap.
Also, I present AMY IN A TOP HAT. Because Moffat really, really loves me:

THIS. I haven't seen most of the prior seasons, but I have heard about them and I'm so glad that she didn't have to *forget* all her adventures with the reboot. Or she did, but then she remembered! Yay!

Amy, however, gets everything she wants - including her parents, omg! - and all on her own terms. YAY.
