♥ River! ♥ God, I am so pleased to see her again, she is totally wonderful. (Don't harsh my squee in this post, thanks!) Eee, she is so competent and kickass and gets on with Amy like a house on fire and <3 <3 <3

I love the continuing timefuck that is Doctor/River. I enjoy how he's obviously scared of her, because the future is scary! And her not even knowing how he knows who she is was a bit heartbreaking.

Amy, omg. So excited and curious and teasing, hahaha - Mr Grumpyface, oh my. :D And then, oh my heart, the scene where she's trying to get the Doctor to go on without her and he absolutely won't. ♥

I don't so much ship any combination of the Doctor and Amy and River as I want them all to end up in a big snarky cuddle pile, ha. :D

I kind of ship Amy/River after that totally heartwarming "You are amazing!" moment. Yes, yes, she is! And she's brave and not clingy and just *flails hands a lot*!

I have a huge amount of love for the idea of the soldier-priesthood as well. I don't know why exactly, but it struck a really big chord with me.

I loved Amy so hard in this. I loled IRL at "Are we there yet?" because it was the perfect embodiment of her being deliberately sassy and getting his goat through the whole thing. The "is she going to be your wife?" conversation was great.

That was so ace, I need to dance. Or just jump around the room or something.

Things I loved:
- River took gorgeous but impractical shoes off as soon as she could
- River replaced gorgeous but impractical evening dress with camo as soon as she could
- River & Amy \0/\0/
- V. Cool and Scary Monsters
- Timing! I was just thinking that it was a bit of a production error to chat about the two-headed builders of the maze when clearly all the statues had one head when whammo! \0/
- Bishop Octavian giving the doctor what for
- That I get to use my River Song icon lots
- Everything else except red shirt POCs.

I love River! And Amy! And this episode! So here's my question: the prison line. Is River really the Doctor's future wife, or is she conning him? Because OMG I WOULD LOVE THAT. The longest con in the history of long cons! Timey-wimey trickster AWESOMENESS! I guess she could be both! And that would be hilarious too.
