I caught the Merlin S2 promo pictures when they surfaced earlier this week, and have been squeeing ever since. (I haven't really read any of the interviews etc, though, so no spoilers please!)

My thoughts can pretty much be summed up as OMG GWEN. ♥_♥

Wow! Gwen looks super pretty. My favorite character is Morgana, so I hope she has some good storylines this year. I've been staying away from spoilers (and Merlin fandom in general... lol. It scares me), so I know nothing about the upcoming season, but I'm super excited!

Ok. I always thought Gwen was pretty, but when you see Morgana next to her (and god that woman is STUNNING), you can't help but think that she outshines Gwen a bit.

And then THESE. Christ. The flowered corset side shot actually makes me stop and STARE. And drool.

She's MAGNIFICENT. Also, CHRIST. Could they play up to Merlin's cheekbones any harder in those promo pics????

I have no idea who the actress is, but she's really lovely. And I'm downloading the first episodes of Merlin season one as I type, by the way. I foresee girlcrushes in my TV-viewing near-future.

She is Angel Coulby! She was in The Girl In The Fireplace briefly, actually, as Reinette's friend when they were wandering in the garden. Clearly she has a thing for playing the secret girlfriends of companions of royalty.
