"I'm definitely not the man I was... thank goodness!"

Amazon sale on Classic Who DVDs and a gift voucher for Christmas - what a delightful combination. I have The Five Doctors, City of Death, and Genesis of the Daleks lined up. Safe choices, perhaps, but considering I don't own any at all I thought I should go for some classics, and all three stories are dear to my heart.

Now, however, a dilemma. Can I really justify going into my own funds so that I can also buy the on-sale TV movie as well? On the one hand, EIGHT. On the other, is it in any way reasonable to allocate finances to a piece of film that features The Master as both a snake and Eric Roberts?

We ask the tough questions round here.

Ha Ha. I feel your pain and temptaion. I may have just placed a £40+ order with Amazon and it was a real struggle not to spend more. And I'm still tempted to get Sarah Jane Adventures off play.com.

As I'm watching one of my in-person january splurges (PotC 3) I'm sort of craving a "Why is the money always gone?" icon.

Anyway, I bought Serenity - but Firefly is now on it's way - I should wait and watch that one first right?

I have no idea how I missed Firely or how I have fallen so behind on TV shows. I'm looking forward to catching up though - I got myself the first three seasons of Supernatural as well during the sales so that should keep me going.

Plus I finally watched the first two seasons of the 4400, which was rather wonderful.

I love TV.

Actually - I'm just watching another sale purchase - The Sword in the Stone. It is very strange seeing Arthur at 12 - but even stranger seeing him be polite. :D
