01. There are some very awesome people celebrating birthdays just now. Happy birthday to ignipes and topaz_eyes for today, and to lls_mutant and serpentpixie for tomorrow! You are all in the manner of bringing many delights to my flist. ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

02. Suspect I need to redo my Yuletide sign-up. Currently I appear to have offered Who RPF. Um. >.> We'll see if that makes the cut or not. (Help help someone talk me out of it?) Also, have currently offered Shakespeare, which is Terrifying. I am excited about my requests, though! I am hoping I get someone who actually wants to write any of the pairings I am angling for, as they all are hard to come by, yet ftw.

03. Yay for rs_small_gifts assigments. Someone is drawing me art! I am going to write a story for glass_icarus that has been tucked away in my brain since I saw her request! All is delightful.

04. Because good Lord but the holidays really are approaching once again, aren't they? I passed a Santa's Grotto today. o.O

05. I'm going to go work on that novel I'm supposedly writing now, for serious.

\o/! I love the whole format of this exchange, how we can get excited about what we're getting for Christmas. :D

Oh, dude, currently in my head the story I'm writing is the greatest thing ever, hahaha. Um, we'll see how that goes, but I'd sort of been angling to write something like that for a while and then the request showed up. Anyway, can't wait to see what you do!

And Santa's Grottos are things rigged up to be all Lapland-esque or whatever, think elves and tacky sparkly fake snow etc - you take your kids there and they go sit on Santa's knee etc, sometimes there are even presents to be had. More than a little early for the first week of November!

other than small gifts and yuletide, i've got go_exchange, kkm_xmas, and the second round of saltydogstories. i went a bit nuts this year because i figured i'm not in school anymore and thus have no homework, but now that i'm looking at a deadline next weekend and another deadline two weeks after that, with small gifts and salty dog and yuletide all coming in quick succession... i think i'm just nuts. *g*

also, D: MAJOR BOOK WOE TODAY. FAIL.
