Torchwood: Lost Souls
[download the audio here!] If you ask me, that was really rather fun.
-- I heart Torchwood trying to be educational! Oh, Jack, take it from me: don't go into teaching. I'm just saying.
-- AHAHAHAHA. Ianto Jones, Welsh ambassador, with Gwen his fake wife? *DIES* (and this fic is now completely canon!)
-- Team, you break my heart, all these half mentions of Tosh and Owen. And Martha's conversations with Jack and Gwen, oh.
-- Some of the mental images the audio-only version of Torchwood produces are priceless - I am particularly enamoured of Gwen and Ianto riding around on bicycles, hee!
"Gwen? Come in, Gwen."
"What is it?"
"My bike's got a bell."
"I'm very pleased for you."
*draws hearts everywhere*
-- Oh, Ianto, you get thoroughly whumped in this story, don't you? And then with the Tennyson reciting!
-- Reversing the polarity of the neutron flow! \o/!
-- Gwen Cooper has all the awesome in the world, she really does. And Eve wins 'best audio actor' by a long shot. (Barrowman, I do love you, never do a jokey British accent again. However, you actually pulled off the 'oh the humanity' speech at the end, so I forgive you.)
-- Idk, is there a coherent plot to this? I'm not sure I care! For lo, the characters were all great. Teeeeam! And Team + Martha, oh yes. We can has, at some point, maybe? Who even knows re. casting any more, but I live in hope she'll turn up in Cardiff again.
eta: Waaaait a minute. So losing your neutrons makes you glow, apparently (*shrug*) - does that mean Ianto was sparkly? Might we even go so far as to say dazzling? Oh, my God. There's one crossover that needs never ever ever to happen.
