hogwarts_elite gift exchange wishlist
This is a list for the gift exchange at
hogwarts_elite - a wishlist of ten things I would really love. Obviously, any of the below would be hugely welcome, whether from members of the community or not.
1. Charitable donation - if you'd prefer something more altruistic, then I'd be thrilled if you would consider giving money to a charity. In recent
hogwarts_elite fashion, perhaps I should suggest Kiva.
2. Post - everyone loves post. I'm super excited about receiving Christmas cards, so if you wanted to send one that'd be awesome; also, I absolutely love letters any time, and promise to reply!
3. Music - I'm always looking for new music. You can see my last.fm here, if you have anything you think I'd like I'd love to hear it! Good Christmas music especially would be wonderful - my tastes run either to the quirky or to the choral. And hey, if you wanted to actually send a CD via post, that'd be really awesome.
4. Graphics - my graphics skills are currently rather horrible (I keep telling myself that one day I'm going to teach myself how to use Photoshop properly), so I always welcome new icons, headers, desktop backgrounds etc, especially ones related to my particular fannish interests.
5. Layout - on that note, I would love for someone to redesign my layout, as I'm hopeless myself and have yet to get it quite right. As this is primarily a fiction journal, emphasis is on functionality, readability, and easy navigation, but we likes the pretty also.
6. Ravenclaw-related things - because displaying your allegiance to a fictitious house is so amazingly geeky and therefore awesome.
7. The lulz - laughter is one of the best presents! I am always partial to a good giggle, whether through the medium of crack videos, silly doodles, maybe a letter from a character, or anything else that springs to mind, I'd love to see something funny.
8. Creative things - if your skills lie in this direction (or even if they don't - see above comment about laughter, right?), something creative - jewellery, scarves, fic, art, whatever medium your creativity runs in.
9. Feedback on my writing - the reason I post this stuff at all is because I love interacting with people about it. Feedback, from a few words to an in-depth critique, on any of my stories would be entirely wonderful, whether it's something recently posted or an old favourite (which you can find starred in my masterlist). Concrit would be especially valued on my more recent work. Stroke the writer's ego!
10. A visit - going to be in London around Christmas/early January and fancy grabbing a coffee? Let me know!
I've tried not to pick many things that cost much more than postage - lots obviously don't cost at all - because although I'll be doing my best to fulfill lots of other people's wishes, I am but an impoverished student myself, so it didn't seem fair. If you'd like my address but don't have it, comment and I'll screen a response to you.

I can add an f.o. note to it if you want. Or make the middle section transparent rather than white. Or both. :)

Re: Better late than never
And heh, considering I have lots of these posts bookmarked but haven't actually, er, done anything about them yet, I'd say you were early - in my book at least. :P And thank you again! ♥
