mctabby's Fourth Annual Cat's Birthday HP Drabblethon is now open here, I remember this being enormously enjoyable last year. Submit a prompt, get a random assignment, cracktasticness abounds!

hp_reread started Goblet of Fire yesterday. Group reading is fun =)

dw_cross sign-ups ends tomorrow; if you want to participate in Who crossover fun, head over now!

And of course, remix_redux goes live soon! *is excited* I'm sort of nervous about my story, though, am trying to resist the urge to go back and edit it because I know that's not going to make it any better.

You know, I really can't resist the shiny, shiny lure of exchanges - it's terrible! I just like the format of them, gets the creative juices flowing for some reason. And then sometimes I get really awesome assignments, like for hp_summergen, which I'm excited about because it goes quite nicely with a story I've been vaguely thinking of writing anyway, urrah!

On that note, I think I need to be firm with myself and go through all of my WIPs and either make plans to finish them, turn them into ficlets, or get rid of them forever.

It's rather fun, isn't it? I like that it's quite easy to drop in and out of, though - I fear that soon I'm going to get terribly behind, what with exams and all =/

I have to work on my attention span for fic. Now that Remix has been done and posted for two weeks, I've almost forgotten about it. And, like, forgotten the fact that no one has actually read it, heh. I'm like, "Okay, that's done! Time to move on!"

*headdesk*

But yes! I'm excited for the archive to open. :)

Haha, I know what you mean, actually! On the rare occasions I've turned something in early, it tends to slip my mind completely.

Fun times! Though I'm a bit worried about how much of my time is going to get eaten up by trying to work through all the shiny goodness.

I failed at resisting. I've been back in for at least four edits. And I'm considering more. *headdesks* I'm going to end up tweaking in a typo, just wait and see.

I'm just a really, really terrible tweaker, it never ends well. But it's just sitting there! Argh. And now you've said that, I have an urge to go back and proof read again, which will only lead on a slippery slope of despair.

Man, I wish I had time to do the reread. Don't get rid of any WIPs! At least copy and paste what you thought was a good sentence or phrase.

Oh, I'm not planning to delete things wholesale, I don't think. But there are some half-baked plots etc that have gone past salvaging, really.
