As you already know, I have ridiculous affection for this song, but seeing it to BSG makes it almost new again. I love the slow way you focus on quieter moments, big landscapes, the less vidded shots. The "Temple of Love" becomes the entire universe which is both epic and quiet at the same time; mythological locations were always such a big part of BSG for a show that was shipbound 90% of the time. Anyway, you give a sense of how small the characters are in the vastness of their universe.

Hurray, thank you! It was really interesting approaching the source from a vidders' perspective for the first time, and I definitely leaned towards the off-ship things when I could, because pretty.

Squeeeeee! I adore this song to itty bitty pieces (Ofra Haza's vocals give me goosebumps), and you MADE A BSG VID WITH IT, thereby causing my heart to explode with joy. It's such a gorgeous vid too. The relationships, the mytharcs, the epicness of the entire span of the show--all beautifully done. I particularly love the final four section.

Thank you so much! This is everything I hoped for and more - the epic feeling of the show, the characters' struggles, the greater picture - more or less just what I babbled at you in emails. *g*

The whole flow was fantastic, but there were a couple of sequences that stood out - Six as the "devil in a black dress", Starbuck kicking the punching bag, Anders/Starbuck when she leaves Caprica.

I'm going to rewatch it a lot. :)

I meant to watch this much sooner than now, and I'm now I'm kicking myself for not doing it because OMG LOVE. It has a very different feel than your usual vid (or that's how it seemed to me, anyway), and I ended up mesmerized! I'll have to rewatch this a few times so I can get the whole feel of it, but in the meantime, it was amazing!
