fandom: Doctor Who
music: 'Begin', by Ben Lee
summary: I'm thinking about how I just want to open up and give and give and give.
download: direct download zipped avi, 31MB.
stream: below.
spoilers: Through Torchwood 2x08 and Doctor Who 4x13.
notes: This is a (somewhat substantial) reworking of one of the earliest vids I made, and the first I posted publicly. An improvement, I hope, now that I can do things like maintain correct aspect ratios and cut to a different clip every once in a while.

What I'm trying to say at close to 2AM is that I think this is lovely, really really lovely.

More generally I also love how you portray the progression of Martha's story. One of the the reasons that Martha is my favourite, is because with the other companions I think the Doctor becomes in one sense a full stop - they experience and learn and develop but once their time with the Doctor is over, that's it - there's nothing else. Which is depressing and heartbreaking. For me Martha breaks that pattern, she continues to grow and move after the Doctor - she's excited for her life after the Doctor, because it's going to be fantastic - and I think you captured that feeling perfectly.
(P.S. I also think that's why there is so much great post-Donna fic - it's not just about fixing her ending, it's about showing that her life can still progress too).
Err... too long - so in short. I LOVE IT!
