Doctor Who 5x01

OMG YAY THAT WAS SO GREAT OMG.

Matt Smith was AMAZING and eeee the script was great and AMY POND I LOVE YOU ALREADY. Oh god, guys, she is so fabulous and I want a million stories about her, and she was a seriously badass kid as well. God, already her character has hit, like, a billion of my buttons. Also preeeeeetty. *______* (Also, hearing the Doctor say my name all the time is a bit awesome. Just saying. :D)

Also, OMFG THE TARDIS, I WANT TO MAKE OUT WITH IT OR SOMETHING. ;alskdja;lksjda;lsjd;alskj

eeeeeee Who is back, it's back, and it's so shiny! And the trailer looks FABULOUS, and is it next week yet?

I'm looking forward to it; I have mostly avoided Who for a couple seasons; it's one of those shows that usually hurts me but that I watch when a character grabs me (like Martha for instance) and tumblr has taught me that Amy Pond is going to be one of those characters. IT WAS SO AWESOME. Matt Smith was absolutely BRILLIANT and I LOVED Amy. She's awesome. And the TAAAAAARDIS. ♥

(Also: zeppelins + Cybermen --> Jake Simmonds, Y/N? *has an unhealthy obsession with Jake* But, not going to happen, I guess. Don't think they're going to Rose's parallel universe again. But still, a girl can dream. :P )

I totally feel the way I did when I watched my first Doctor Who episode ever (which was "Girl in the Fireplace" HI MOFF). I realise that I am ridiculously easy to please in some matters, but... the magic is back. That crazy bright spark that makes me dream about things and want to write science-fiction. That wild, fluid, spur-of-the-moment imagination. I just. The magic came back. Without, thus far, RTD's really bizarre cynicism. And I am so ready to be on this ride. PLEASE KEEP ON GETTING EVEN MORE FABULOUS, SHOW.

Also, Amy has a good amount of Donna in her. WHICH I LOVE. plus her voice gets TOTALLY EXTRA ADORABLE AND LOVELY when she's pissed at the Doctor.

ME TOO ME TOO TO ALL OF THIS. I have this perfect memory of where and when I was the first time I watched Girl in the Fireplace, and I didn't really know what to expect, but I sat there, flailing and wanting to, -- I don't know, gnaw off my fingers for the sheer joy of it -- and then I went to my sister and told her SHE HAD TO WATCH THIS SHOW WITH ME RIGHT NOW, and she didn't believe me at first, but then I finally got her to agree to ten minutes and of COURSE she was sucked in and I don't even remember where I was going with this, but just YES THIS WAS WONDROUS.

And the 2% of me that was worried that I'd been wrong all these months about Eleven is going to be My Doctor was so completely overpowered, because HE IS, which is a kind of insane feeling, because I didn't think I could love this show more, BUT OH, ELEVEN, MY MADMAN WITH A BOX, and also Amy, OBVIOUSLY, because she is brilliant and fierce and funny and adorable and UTTERLY FANTASTIC.
