Hello, festividder! Optional details are optional, but if some more info would be helpful then here it is. Recycled from previous years but still relevant!
Some kinds of vids that I like include: vids that explore the world of the source, swishy dancey action vids, emotional character-driven vids, vids about awesome women whether focused on one individual or a group of them, vids about people who love each other, vids exploring big thematic ideas and imagery, vids about comedy hijinx.
Seeing one of these sources come to life in your vid is going to be awesome, I'm so excited. Musically, I haven't met a genre you can't make an awesome vid out of.
Some other bits and pieces that I like - parallels, characters growing into their own awesomeness, hugs, montages, pretty fight sequences, pretty dance sequences, big emotions, sentimentality, meta analysis.
Original request below. Fandoms: Bomb Girls, Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle (movies), Paddington (movies), The Baby-Sitters' Club, The Good Place, The Old Guard, Animal Crossing: New Horizons.
Bomb Girls: what is this post-series movie you speak of? other than ignoring that I'd love anything here, an ensemble vid, a character study of any of the women, or a Betty/Kate vid.
Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle: these movies are way more charming than they have any right to be! I'd love an ensemble vid or anything about Martha or Bethany.
Paddington: literally anything, these films are perfect.
Baby-Sitters Club: tween girl friendships forever!!! Mary Anne and Dawn are my faves but I adore them all.
The Good Place: ugly crying. I would really, really love a Chidi character study but I'd be delighted with an ensemble vid, a Chidi/Eleanor vid, or a vid about any of the main six honestly, they're all the best.
The Old Guard: I would love an ensemble vid or a Nile or Nile/Andy vid!
Animal Crossing: New Horizons was my first foray into these games, and what a wonderful balm in a shitty year. Anything at all would be wonderful.
