Dear Festividder
Hello dear festividder - so sorry for the delay! <3
Some kinds of vids that I like include: vids that explore the world of the source, swishy dancey action vids, emotional character-driven vids, vids about awesome women whether focused on one individual or a group of them, vids about people who love each other, vids exploring big thematic ideas and imagery, vids about comedy hijinx.
All of the sources I've requested are very dear to my heart in different ways, and seeing one of them come to life in your vid is going to be awesome, I'm so excited. Musically, I haven't met a genre you can't make an awesome vid out of.
Some other bits and pieces that I like - parallels, characters growing into their own awesomeness, hugs, montages, pretty fight sequences, pretty dance sequences, big emotions, sentimentality, meta analysis.
Fandoms: Ocean's 8, The Adventure Zone, Critical Role, My Brother My Brother and Me (TV), Hidden Figures, The Good Place.
Ocean's 8: BE GAY, DO CRIME. Femslash or gen equally delightful. I came out of the film shipping Debbie/Lou the most but I'm very open to being sold on other ships.
The Adventure Zone: absolutely anything you do to bring this podcast to life visually will thrill and delight me.
Critical Role: I love these nerds. Would be equally thrilled with a vid about the cast or the characters in either/both campaigns.
My Brother, My Brother and Me (TV): This series was so ridiculous and I loved it. Anything about their shenanigans will be wonderful. Would prefer no shots of real spiders please, I'm with Travis on this one.
Hidden Figures: I love everything this film chooses to be, and I'd love anything about any combination of Dorothy, Mary and Katherine.
The Good Place: I'm so in love with this show, and will be keeping up to date if you want to incorporate s3 episodes. It's so charming and funny and also makes me cry fairly regularly. As an anxious philosopher myself, Chidi is my absolute favourite but I'd be thrilled with a character study for any of the central six. I ship Chidi/Eleanor the most and also am very into the idea of Chidi/Eleanor/Tahani
