Karen Gillan's hair
Karen Gillan's hair is best known for playing the role of Amy Pond's hair in Doctor Who. It's a very talented performer and in this post I'm going to showcase some of its best work!

Here we see Karen and her hair prepping before a scene.

Here we see in its natural habitat: bathed in golden light.

Bathed in natural sunlight is also a good look.

Karen Gillan's hair has magical gravity-defying properties.

It can also achieve a beautiful wind machine effect with no mechanical assistance.

Here it is in a relaxed state, like a beautiful red waterfall.

It is very versatile and can settle into a range of different roles with ease. Here we have the 'artfully tousled'.

Sophisticated loose ringlets.

Period drama!

Hipster fashionista chic.

It can even form itself into a crown.

ALERT. THE HAIR PICTURED ABOVE IS AN IMPOSTER. LEARN TO RECOGNISE IT ON SIGHT.

Karen Gillan's hair made a noble sacrifice to facilitate a new performer: Karen Gillan's scalp. And a fine scalp it is too.

But look! It is preparing for an encore appearance. :D

I have to say, I love the artfully tousled/ringlets look, but I've never worked out how to do that with my hair. Paying attention to the very first photo, I think it's because I've never put that much effort into making my hair look casually good.
