Doctor Who 7x12
eeeee that was delightful! GIVE ME THE JENNY AND VASTRA AND STRAX SPINOFF. GIVE IT TO MEEEEE. *grabby hands*
+ I loved the focus on Jenny in this episode, it was great to see her doing things on her own. And I love Strax and Vastra and Clara and the Doctor and EVERYONE IS GREAT YAY.
+ Eleventy's stupid face and his complete delight in the resourcefulness and goodness of the people around him, it's so precious.
+ Clara was having a great time, and being a clever cloggs with the chimney and the chair. Yeah, she's totally the boss.
+ Mrs Gillyflower and Ada were both delightful in very different ways. Diana Rigg as a total meglomaniac was really enjoyable, and oh, Ada. Given the show's horrible horrible record with portrayals of disability (evil overlords in wheelchairs everywhere) it was great seeing a disabled character who was sympathetic and heroic and didn't die and didn't need to be cured, either. She's splendid just as she is.
+ I'm intrigued by the theme in these last few episodes of the Doctor being a monster, but monsters aren't so bad, and they can love and they need love.
+ CLARAAAA. I love that she keeps going home without it being a big deal, it's such a change. And oh man, those kids are awesome, I look forward to seeing more of them!
I can't believe that next week it's Neil Gaiman's episode, and then suddenly it's the finale! Where did the time go?

Maybe this has something with him not remembering, like maybe, the only reason the Doctor is the way he is is because of his memories and that, at some point, they get wiped and he becomes a "monster" that can only be saved by Clara?
Pretty sure if Vastra, Jenny, and Strax DON'T get a spin-off soon some riots will start happening. They were so great and Jenny with her smack-down abilities?
HOTSo cool!NEXT WEEK IS NEIL GAIMAN'S EP OMG??

This is actually a big chunk of why I hate the whole split season thing with a fiery passion. 5-7 eps at a time is Not Enough.

OMG, what, really?! I'm not ready!
I love the way Clara is having fun. And getting to go home again. And being generally awesome and adorable.
And the theme of the Doctor being a monster who can love and who needs love is utterly lovely, if you ask me.
And this:
GIVE ME THE JENNY AND VASTRA AND STRAX SPINOFF. GIVE IT TO MEEEEE. *grabby hands*
YES YES YES YES YES.
In sum: I love them all. Even Strax. The end.
