Avengers kissing fest!

(Me? Procrastinating on my own fannish projects? Never!)

I declare a festival of kissing for my pretty summer fling fandom. Avengers movieverse, all characters, all ships and no ships, all fanworks.

THE RULES:

01. Leave a comment with two or more characters from the Avengers movieverse who you'd like to see kiss. You can include a prompt if you like as an optional extra for the prompt-filler.
02. Reply to a comment with a fanwork in which those characters kiss. The kissing can be platonic or romantic, on the mouth or the cheek or the forehead or the shoulder or anywhere else that you like.
03. All fanworks welcome, including art/podfic/vids/icons/recs/meta/fic etc. Multiple fills for the same prompt are encouraged. Replying to your own prompt is fine. Anon commenting is fine. Coming back and posting a fill two months later is fine.

Natasha/Maria, It's not really girl talk

"So then he pulls out this," Maria trails off, trying to keep her laugh from booming out across the bar, "incredibly outdated Baikal-441, waves it around and looks surprised when no one falls to the floor."

Natasha smiles around the rim of her glass, and looks expectantly over at Maria. "What happened then?"

"Oh, come on," Maria raises an eyebrow and tips her head to the side. "Coulson clocked him, kicked it out of his hand and pulled him into a chokehold."

"I wonder where he got hold of the Baikal," Natasha says, and catches the waitresses eye. "They are getting harder and harder to come by."

"There's a weapons dealer down in Minneapolis who usually has a stock of them." Maria sips at her drink thoughtfully. "Actually, she might not still be in business. I think Fury found out about her."

"Damn," Natasha says with what would be, on anyone else, a pout. "If it's who I'm thinking of she was awesome."

"You have access to the SHIELD armory!" Maria says. "You really don't need to buy weapons on the black market anymore."

"But I like the challenge," Natasha grins. "It's no fun just filling out a requisition form."

Maria shakes her head affectionately, and runs her fingertip up Natasha's forearm. "I don't think this is what the others think we talk about on date night."

"Ha, no." Natasha says, as she leans into the touch. "Clint once told me he thinks we talk about which of the SHIELD admin we want to fuck."

"Darcy," Maria says promptly. "She's stacked. Also, funny."

"Not going to argue with that," Natasha says, moving their glasses to the side so the waitress can put the fresh ones down. "Caslowski has great legs."

"But she's so pernickety," Maria whines. "It's like talking to my sister when I have to have a conversation with her. Oh, don't look at me like that. She's great at her job, but yeesh, she battles Coulson for the Paperwork Crown."

"No one will take that crown from him," Natasha says and then downs her shot. "He would fight tooth and nail to keep it."

"Probably not with a Baikal though." Maria runs a hand through her hair, and then downs her shot. Natasha watches the movement of her throat with a predatory gleam. "He'd use one of the experimental weapons he's borrowed from Stark."

"As long as it isn't that nerve-incapacitator that Clint got hold of the other day," Natasha shudders a little at the memory of Clint waving it around, looking for all the world like a kid in a candy store.

"No, Coulson would go for that little handgun that has the sonic boom effect. I saw him fondling it." Maria nudges Natasha's shoulder with her own, and slides her foot up Natasha's calf.

"I was so annoyed he got to that first," Natasha says as she traces patterns on Maria's thigh, under her skirt. "It would fit so neatly in the new holster I picked up in Lucerne."

"You'll just have to infiltrate the lab, steal another one and then surprise someone with it." Maria's voice dips a little as Natasha's fingertips slide under the elastic of her underwear, and she smiles at the gleam in Natasha's eyes. "Come on, finish your drink, we can go home and plan how to get in and out."

Natasha grins, and swallows the rest of her martini in one smooth go. She slides her hand out from under Maria's skirt and kisses each of her fingertips in turn, before sliding out of her chair, putting some money on the table and holding out a hand for Maria. Maria takes the hand, so she can stand up without putting any weight on her foot, and then kisses Natasha's palm, letting her tongue flicker over the lifeline.

I found myself researching outdated Russian weaponry and had a moment of "what is my life even?" and then realised I am having way too much fun to care! I am glad you enjoyed it!

Hah, I know! I spent 20 minutes the other day trying to figure out what MIT calls its freshman orientation, and if it was different in the '80s. *nerd fistbump*

I figure that fandom gives both enjoyment, and the chance to find out lots of oddly interesting facts! It has made me much better at pub quizzes!
