Doctor Who/Star Trek Crossover Fest Fills Post

Cover of the crossover comment, with the Doctor, Picard, the Enterprise and the TARDIS

In honour of the upcoming IDW Doctor Who/Star Trek TNG crossover comic (more details here), I hereby announce a fest! (Previous discussion including some great crossover ideas.)

If you would like to leave or pick up some prompts, this is the prompts post, but responding to a prompt is optional.

This fest is footloose and fancy free, so there are no strict definitions of what constitutes a crossover or kind of fanwork - any kind of creative response that involves an element of Who and an element of Trek is welcome! TV canon, books, animated series, audio plays, anything you like.

You can either post your fanwork directly as a comment - Dreamwidth comment fields are generous, character-wise, but do not allow video embedding - or as a link to your own space.

Please use something like the below header when posting a fill (feel free to add/modify):

*For content notes, please note whether you prefer not to provide content notes, if your fanwork contains underage sexual activity, nonconsensual sexual activity, graphic violence or anything else you'd like to note, or if no content notes apply.

I'll start a Q&A and Discussion thread below - try and only make a new top-level comment if you're posting a fill.

note: I won't actually be online a huge amount over the next couple of days, so if something comes up that urgently needs my attention, please zap me a line at such.heights at gmail. I will try and get to anything in the Q&A thread below as quickly as possible, however.

'Mel!' the Doctor yelled. 'Mel, what the blazes is this?'

Mel was in her room. He heard her shoes clatter along the corridor as she approached.

'There's no need to shout!' she was saying indignantly. 'I know I should have asked you first but you were busy, and it was so cute that I couldn't resist, and anyway I thought you liked...'

She stopped short when she reached him.

'Oh,' she said.

The floor of the console room was a mass of softly cooing balls of fur.

'But I only bought one!' she said.

He glared at her.

'On the bright side, we've plenty of space?' she said, with a hopeful smile.
