PONDS. I love you the MOST, and if you don't get a happy ending I don't even know what I'm going to do with myself. (I do think they will, but apparently will break my heart over and over again in the meantime.)

God, just, Amy. All the feelings. All of them. I am a mess.

I have been looking forward to this episode for ages and it did not disappoint! AMY POND I LOVE YOU FOREVER.

I am totally in tune with the writers, if the writers meant the Doctor's 'it's your marriage' line to read as 'well, I know you're fine with threesomes, and sex with multiple Amys, so yes.'

Apologies for the slight moment of non-squee, but it's really difficult for me to process these episodes as to the fact that the Ponds are not going to raise their daughter and are apparently okay with that?

But once I deleted that from my brain and pretended none of that happened, I actually ENJOYED this episode (something I haven't really felt so far) it was so wonderful and everything I wanted about Rory and Amy without feeling super heavy handed and oh god all the tears.

Yeah -- my personal reading of that is that they've got to a point where because of timelines etc they don't believe they can do anything to change what's already happened, and so are jaunting around in the TARDIS in the biggest bit of escapist denial ever because otherwise they'd have to go home and deal with it. Which makes sense to me even though it's really awful, but I wish we actually saw a bit more of that or some other reasoning on the show itself.

And yes, it just gave my little shipper heart so, so many feelings, oh gosh. The macarena! Pretending to be in a band! Tearing apart time for each other! eeeee <3

ALL OF THE FEELINGS. And sadly, the most overwhelming feeling, coming out of this episode, is that it's time for them to leave the TARDIS. Even before Rory's line about not wanting to travel with the Doctor anymore, all I could think was "Eleventy, please please PLEASE just take them safely to Leadworth and bring them wee Melody and let them live out their HEA that they deserve." Come back on Christmas and Easter for adventures, but this is ripping them apart and my broken heart can't take it. POOOOOOONDS.

Also, WHEN ARE THEY GOING TO LEARN NOT TO SPLIT UP/WANDER OFF?!

That's my reading, too. And actually this episode, and especially what Rory says it in, gives me a little bit of hope that by the finale that's all going to explode.

You couldn't stand the idea of a timestream, of a reality, where Amy hated you. Could you. The minute she said that you had to erase it, you had to make it not-be-true. Because if Amy Pond can hate you, what (as she herself said when your self-hatred mired you ALL in unreality) the point of you?

Yes, I think that's it. It will be on their own terms because they are starting to realize that this is tearing them apart. I need my Ponds to get their HEA!
