Yesss, I agree completely re. Nasreen! She is so great.

One striking thing about Doctor Who and its fandom, to me, is that we have quite high standards for it. Which I think is good! But in comparison to a lot of fandoms where the source material is a lot more problematic, yeah, it's not all that bad. We're all invested in it doing better, though, which is great - I think in other fandoms people either give up and leave or just grit it out. Here there is always the possibility for change and improvement.
