"Oh wow," Amy says as she steps out of the TARDIS, adjusting her sunglasses again.

"Oh wow," the Doctor agrees. "Welcome to outer space Florida! Home of cool cats, hip hippos, groovy Graske, everyone who's anyone."

Amy gives him the side-eye. "I'm pretty sure no one says any of those things."

"What do you know, you're wearing sunglasses bigger than your face!"

"What do you know, you're still wearing that bloody bow tie!"

The Doctor looks so sad and deflated that Amy can't resist the urge to give him a reassuring pat on the arm. "So, what do groovy Graske do around here, then?"

"Well! There are amusement parks where you pick from millions of virtual reality rides, hover restaurants that take you on a gentle tour of the coastline, banana boat rides -- actually, those aren't so good. Made of actual bananas. Gets a bit soggy. Bananas are good, though! Anyway. You want to watch the theme parks, too. Holograms of all the most popular fictional characters of the era, but ah, they get quite into it. Very sharp teeth, some of them." The Doctor bites his lip with a ridiculous expression on his face to demonstrate. "Whatever you like, basically."

"Well then!" Amy thinks about it for a moment. "Actually, after all that babble, you know what I fancy? A banana smoothie. Can I get one of those?"

"Ooh, an excellent idea." The Doctor crooks an arm. "Come along, Pond!"

River gives the man at the door an appraising once-over. "Hmm, let me guess. You must be Jack."

Jack beams. "Bingo! And who are you?"

River laughs, and steps aside to let him in. She hears Amy's clattering footsteps behind her, and a curious sort of squeaking noise from the Doctor.

"Doctor!" Jack strides over to the console. "Wow, nice job you've done here, she's gorgeous!"

"Captain." The Doctor keeps up the façade for a second before he breaks into a grin and grabs Jack's arm. "Good to see you."

"See we've got some new faces around here!" Jack continues. "Do I get an introduction?"

"Yes, yes. Jack, this is River Song, Amelia Pond. And this is Captain Jack Harkness, who is a horrible influence and pretty much always up to no good."

"And you love me anyway."

River shares a glance with Amy. "Oh, I think I like this one, Doctor! So you're the Captain Jack, huh? I've heard stories, you know. Is it really true you escaped death by killer robots once with an extremely well-placed gun?"

Jack barks a laugh. "Entirely true."

"I've seen pictures of you!" Amy says. "You travelled with the Doctor before, didn't you? You and a really hot girl?"

"Ah, well, which really hot girl?"

"Ooh," says Amy. "Do tell."

"Yes, Captain," says River. "Sounds like you have some stories still up your sleeve."

The Doctor makes that odd squeaking noise. "Oh, I've, er, just remembered, very important bit of maintenance round the back, really quite urgent actually, should probably go check that out pretty sharp-ish." He bolts for it.

Jack smiles fondly after him. "He never really changes, does he?"

"No, not really." River agrees.

"Woah, steady there," River says, her hands on Amy's hips. "You've got to lean into the console when you do that, not away from."

"Right, right, got it. I'm just a little, ah, distracted."

"Sorry," River says, not sounding sorry at all, her breath hot on Amy's neck.

"Okay," Amy says, feeling a little shaky. "Just lean in."

River obliges, leaning in closer, her body pressing against Amy's.

"This is a really terrible teaching method, just so you know."

"Oh, probably. But more fun, don't you think?"

"I tell you what's even more fun," Amy replies, letting her hands fly away from the TARDIS console. "Making a mess of the Doctor's console room." She reaches up and kisses the laughter on River's face.

SPACE FLORIDA. Can I say I liked mine the best? I liked mine the best. I think you NAILED their voices in that one. I could hear Matt saying ALL OF THE WORDS and being shifty and Karen saying her lines as well. It was perfection!
