I think for the audience we’ve always got to stay within the bounds of fantasy credibility.
Because in a show about wizards and talking dragons and monsters, what's really going to throw people out of the story is a girl holding a sword. What the hell. Even if I could buy that argument for half a second, aren't chicks with swords pretty much a basic component of fantasy?
