Deathly Hallows
A slightly startling thing I realised today: I've been a Harry Potter fan for 2/3 of my life. Damn. No wonder I am incapable of objective analysis of this film, but simply joy at seeing my characters again.
Oh my goodness, hi HP universe! I am so glad I get to hang out in you again! <33333
+ Although partly that was me going 'hi Remus, hi Tonks, hi Fred, hi Moody, hi Hedwig, hi Dobby ... oh, right'. D:
+ I was delighted with the little glimpses we got of Neville and Luna and Ginny. Hi hi alternate trio! And omg, Luna's dancing was amazing, also her relationship with Harry, also everything else she chooses to be. ♥LUNA♥
+ That Deathly Hallows animation! Unexpected and totally awesome! In general this movie was beautiful and I can't wait to get the DVD so I can start vidding. (This is also what I said post-HBP but I mean it this time!)
+ JAMES AND LILY'S GRAVES OH MY GOD. CRY FOREVER. :((((
+ Though that and Sirius's room (CRY FOREVER) and the little bit of Regulus we got made me all nostalgic for my corner of fandom way back when. When the 'I open at the close' scene comes around in the next film? I WILL BE INCONSOLABLE omg I can't even think about seeing it on a big screen. ;_;
+ One of the best parts of the film for me was the way it captured the sense of total chaos and disruption in the world. It's thrilling in the books and it was thrilling here, too. And as ever the set design for the Ministry is gorgeous.
+ THE TRIO. Oh, kids, the characters I've carried around with me forever. I love them, I love them they're being badass, when it's them against the world, when they have group hugs, when they're angsty in tents and all having inappropriate levels of sexual tension with each other, all of it. *______*
+ But most of all, I love Hermione. My girl, my precious girl, the bravest little toaster there ever was. I have no words, just flail, and ISN'T SHE AMAZING? Also I'm not sure when the transition from 'Emma Watson sure is a beautiful young lady' to 'HI THERE, HOTNESS' happened, but, well. Also HER FACE OF BRAVERY AND WOE. :((

In July I do not even know how I am going to handle it. I will have to bring a terrifyingly huge box of tissues to the theatre and possibly also some sort of pillow or something with which to stifle my WRENCHING SOBS. It is going to be SO AMAZING.

I WAS JUST WONDERING THIS. I actually watched some of HBP today and was like, "Huh, she still looked like a kid," and then I went on Tumblr, and BAM GROWN-UP EMMA. And that combined with the Hermione thing...well, it was just too much for me.
In general this movie was beautiful and I can't wait to get the DVD so I can start vidding.
I was so excited watching it in the theater because I was thinking I could go home and look at all the pretty picspams, but then I remembered theatrical movies aren't like TV shows where people get versions right away, and it made me sad. But I can't wait to see what you do with it!
And basically, I AGREE WITH THE REST OF YOUR POST, but I'm cutting it off here so I don't leave you a novel-length comment, omg. ♥

I love her so much it's ridiculous.
AND THE TRIO. AND HARRY AND HERMIONE DANCING. I just... How often do you get this kind of demonstration of deep, completely platonic love between teenagers? I loved that.

Loved the tiny bit of Regulus and see my dear Arthur again, loved him being the one standing in the middle before the Patronus at the wedding.
The Alternate trio really needs to have their own series. Someone needs to write the book of Year 7 at Hogwarts for Neville, Luna, and Ginny. I WOULD READ IT MILLIONS!
And seriously, Emma just grew leaps and bounds in her acting, did she not? My god! I love it!
