I love this. Really. I don't think it's many people who can convincingly write Lily as a young mother. And the rest of it -- the sense of hopefulness that everyone had, the way you painted Lily and James' lives as part of a larger network of friends and family, not just the Marauders -- that was wonderful. It made my heart hurt because it seems like the beginning of all good things, but of course we know it isn't.
