In my current state of Torchwood glee, have some Whoniverse recs.

First, two post-S3 Martha fics:

Martha got used to silence while she was saving the world.

She's lying on the bed in her childhood room, staring up at the ceiling, and she smirks at that thought and its arrogance, and the smirk turns into spasms of laughter in spite of the fact that it isn't really that amusing.

Oh, oh! This is one of the best post-Last of the Time Lords Martha fics I've had the pleasure of reading. Perfect characterisation, lots of little moments to make you laugh then break your heart, and really gorgeous writing. Bonus, it also comes with a very wonderful fanmix!

inthesestones is a fantastic project anyway, a mixed-media treasure trove, but this bit was really lovely.

All right, I admit it, paperclipbitch has completely sold me on this pairing. :P This story is hilarious, Torchwood team!crack at its very best, complete with sex aliens and all. Snarky and well-characterised and hilarious.
