"A backless dress and some beat up sneaks," "she took my arm" and its repetitions, and "I think I see the future" -- such wonderful juxtapositions.
I did not cry during the movie, and I teared up at this. And the way you use the 2:19-2:42 bridge? interlude? to tell a story about how Rey got to the point where she could make that Crowning Moment of Awesome happen is breathtaking.

(also i had been reading some really interesting meta about how characters in this movie fakes it til they make it - and how there's some really interesting commentary about dressing up in the clothes of what you want to be - and then suddenly i was watching this, with baby Finn lighting up his girlfriend's lightsaber, wearing his boyfriend's jacket, trying to face down Kylo, and i felt the feelings. i felt all of them.)
