Fundraiser: Taking Commissions

The aftermath of

fizzyblogic's death has been awful in all kinds of ways. For his partner,

leanwellback, one of those ways has been financial. James has written about his situation here on tumblr and asked for help so that he can support himself and their cats while he looks for work.

I can't bear the thought of James having to worry about putting food on the table on top of everything else.

So! I am accepting commissions. If you have some money to spare and can make a donation, I will make you a thing! I've tried to come up with a Kickstarter-style sliding scale of incentives (say that three times fast), from ficlets to multifandom fanvids.

Available fandoms and prices below. If you've already donated, you can absolutely still commission something.

Available media: fic, vids, podfic
Possibly also available: icons, graphics/gifs, rec lists, fanmixes, meta, anything else you can think of that I might be able to do.

£25: fic 3000+ words / podfic 5000 - 10,000 words
£30: podfic 10,000 - 30,000 words
£40: vid (TV series, film series, etc)
£50: multisource vid

Other fanworks - negotiable. If you prefer, you can mix and match a few smaller fanworks rather than one large one

This is lovely! I'd like to commission a 1,000+ word fic, and I'll give three prompts for you to choose from.

BtVS: Willow/Tara, sometime between "Family" and "The Body". Can be as sexy or not as you like.

Firefly: Inara and Kaylee. Slash or gen is fine; I love them as friends. Maybe the two go on an outing and don't talk about Mal?

Harry Potter: Post-Deathly Hallows, Hermione and Luna hang out, maybe have an adventure?

I see you have OUAT posts on your tumblr, would you consider making a OUAT femslash vid? I like fun and bobby, and Mulan/Aurora, Ruby/Belle, Red/Snow. Let me know if that's doable... (edit: and actually, if you like the idea below and can't do a OUAT vid, I'd be happy to commission a Merlin/LotS vid or vidlet as well. Um, basically, have a few ideas and lemme know if any or all of them suit for commissions)

Also after the ending of Merlin, I have a bit of hankering for empowered Morgana fic. How would you feel about Morgana as Lord Rahl with Cara/Dahlia or Cara/Dahlia/Morgana? Happy to commission either length of fic depending on how you feel about the bunny.

Avengers to Raise Your Glass. I have a weakness for the Glee version but the original is also awesome.

Tony Stark to Tik Tok.

Jack Harkness to Read My Mind by The Killers. I imagine this as Jack and the Doctor in verse 1 and Jack/Ianto in verse 2.

I'm actually having a hard time figuring out how to order these so whichever you think would come out best would be awesome.

PS I've stuck the cash in anyway as I'm reasonably well off for cash right now.

The only thing I feel like is really should have is a link between "what part of party don't you understand" and the Natasha/Tony exchange at the start of the big fight in The Avengers. Other than that, go to town - I can see lots of ways to match up the lyrics to the various characters and the fact that I know the IM movies best skews my judgement because I feel it should be a balanced ensemble vid.

	That's really hard! On the one hand there are some lovely shots in Norton!Hulk but on the other I think trying to include both would be really confusing and I do love Ruffalo!Hulk. but also..if you are taking more commissions, and are ok with the pairing yourself I would happily pay for a Dr Who fandom River/ClaraOswin fic. Probably in the 1,000+ words £10 category, but if it ended up shorter or longer I don't mind. (personal preference for outrageous flirting with underlying emotional turmoil or jealousy, rather than all-the-sex)

Hi! If you are still taking commissions, I'm able to donate £25 and would love an Avengers femslash 3k+ fic. I totally dug "those wet clothes" and would love something else in that verse, exploring how natasha and pepper navigate their fledgling relationship and their high-powered careers. or really anything with a female avengers character being badass-- my preference is for femslash, but i'd also be very happy with a genfic focused on natasha or maria hill kicking ass and not shacking up with a dude :-)

so sorry for your friend's loss. thank you for helping encourage those of us who do not know him to help out.
