Right, time to get cracking on Remix. I'm pretty sure I've chosen my story, and I have a concept for what I want to do (I know, about time), but I'm still really nervous! Anyone else that's involved, how are you getting on? *dithers*

On an exchange note, I feel somewhat alone on my flist in signing up for [livejournal.com profile] hp_summergen. Go on, you know you want to, sign-ups close on on April 3rd.

eta: Oh, I forgot, that fic commentary thing is flying around again, do feel to request if you're interested - masterlist here. I somehow doubt my stories really lend themselves to other people being interested in an in-depth analysis thereof, however, but you never know!

Oh, I need to remix, too, especially since my RL schedule between now and the deadline is quite hectic. But the weather today is so nice - I don't want to sit at the computer and dither over every word!

Anyway, I picked my story and my remix angle right away and I've probably got about 200-300 words already, but I need the big "get done" push to come soon. Aargh.

I can't sign up for any exchanges, I've decided. I have a big 'to write' list and if I'm a high school or middle school teacher next year, a lot of my writing will have to stop, probably, so I want the summer clear for work on those projects.

Damn you and your nice weather, it's terrible here. Anti-procrastinatory , though.

Ah, I'm in that quite nice 'ooh, idea!' place at the moment, but that'll dissipate soon I fear. Nngh.

Yeah, I really should stop being a lazy so-and-so and make myself deal with the half-baked ideas on my to-write list, but I just keep filling out those forms instead.

=D I really like the idea of you impressing the joys of Latin on schoolkids (I've nearly left, I can totally call them that) - where are you at with all of jobhunting at the moment?

Well, it's supposed to snow overnight and tomorrow, so it's not quite spring here yet.

Should probably update the whole f-list on job stuff, so I'll try to post later today.

(Sorry to eavesdrop!) Ah, see, I can't seem to commit to a story. I think this is a very psychologically complex way of procrastinating. You sound like you have the sophomore slump--you've made the initial decisions but lost the glow of a new project.

Like A, I'm curious to hear about your job hunt... M.

Hm, perhaps I am a perpetual sophomore in life - ideas, but no drive to finish them.

Look for a job post later today or tonight.
